COVER GIRL
(and much much more)

It was the best selling issue in the magazine's history. But of course, they knew it would be. For years, the leading fashion, beauty, and celebrity magazines had been wooing The GODdess, hoping to be the first to put Her image on their cover. She was, it was generally acknowledged, the most beautiful woman in the world. But that was not all that attracted them to the possibility of featuring Her in their pages. She was also known to be a visual creative artist of unsurpassed talent, and even the tiniest glimpse into Her life of unlimited luxury and freedom would be sure to prove fascinating to any magazine's readership.

When the editors received word that an agreement had been reached they considered it a true coup, and the agreement was the source of almost constant "buzz" - and considerable envy and even outright jealousy - in the magazine publishing world.

This accomplishment was not, however, achieved without high cost. The GODdess had demanded (and of course received) complete creative control over every image of Her Perfect Self, and was given complete editorial control over the content of all text as well. She also demanded, and received, a permanent high level position within the creative side of the magazine's production staff (with a correspondingly generous salary) and a significant stake
in the ownership of the magazine itself.

It was, without question, the most lucrative "cover girl" contract ever signed - and the editors knew that even at that price, it was an incredible bargain because, with Her involvement, the future success and growth of the magazine was now assured.
